• Your detailsThese arrive on WhatsApp once you have ordered: either an activation code, or a server address with a username and password. Which of the two depends on the device.
• Your connection15 Mbps carries HD comfortably and 25 carries 4K. An ethernet cable is steadier than Wi-Fi, and 5 GHz Wi-Fi is steadier than 2.4 GHz.
• Your deviceScroll to it below. No guide on this page runs longer than four steps.

1. Open Samsung Apps or the LG Content Store.
2. Install IBO Player — or Smart IPTV, Set IPTV or IPTV Smarters, any of which will do.
3. The app displays a device key. Send that key to us on WhatsApp.
4. We attach your line to it, usually within the minute. Close the app and reopen it.

About the small fee: these TV apps charge a few euros to activate. That money goes to whoever wrote the app, once per television, and is nothing to do with what you pay us.

1. From the Fire TV home screen, install Downloader.
2. Go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer options and allow Downloader to install apps.
3. Open Downloader, type in the address we send you, and install the player it fetches.
4. Launch it and type in the details from your email.

Which of the two? TiviMate has the better guide; IPTV Smarters is easier to learn. Say which you want and we send the matching address.

1. Open the Google Play Store.
2. Install TiviMate or IPTV Smarters Pro.
3. Choose to add a playlist, or a new user.
4. Type in your details and give it a moment to pull the channel list down.

2. Install IPTV Smarters Pro.
3. Open it and accept its terms.
4. Enter your details, and the channels, films and series load in.

1. Open the App Store.
2. Install IPTV Smarters Player Lite.
3. Open it and accept its terms.
4. Enter your details and you are watching.

Not in the store? Apple lets these players change name from time to time. Ask us and we will tell you what it is called this week.

1. Open the App Store. Needs Apple TV 4 or newer.
2. Install IPTV Smarters Player Lite.
3. Enter your details. Accept when it offers to use your iPhone as the keyboard — it is far quicker.

1. Get VLC from videolan.org, or the desktop build of IPTV Smarters.
2. VLC: Media → Open Network Stream. Smarters: add a new user.
3. Paste the link we sent, or enter the server, username and password.

Note: VLC plays the channels but has no programme guide and no catch-up. Use IPTV Smarters for both.

• The picture keeps stoppingAlmost always the connection. Try a cable, or move closer to the router. If it is one channel only, send us its name.
• It says the login is wrongCopy and paste from our WhatsApp message instead of typing. A stray space is usually the culprit.
• A channel is missingLine-ups change. Send us the name and we will tell you where it is.
• Nothing loads at allRestart the router and try again. Still dead? Message us with your device and what is on screen.
